The 3-star level, air-conditioned, friendly and familiar HOTEL PALOTA CITY*** is located in the XV. district of Budapest.
Our hotel has 16 air-conditioned, non-smoking standard rooms and 3 air-conditioned, non-smoking II. category pocket friendly rooms. Our services include 24-hour reception, 24-hour drink bar, breakfast on demand, an indoor heated pool and sauna.
The hotel’s guests can park their cars in the backyard free of charge.

In our wellness area there’s a heated indoor pool and a sauna.

We serve breakfast in the dining room. It is also suitable for organizing smaller family and company events and presentations.

About 25-28 people can be seated in a comfortable way. Our hotel is located a bit further from the noise of the city centre, but still at an easily approachable place.

The centre of Budapest can be reached in about 15 minutes on the M3 motorway, while the Hungaroring and the Liszt Ferenc International Airport are about 20 minutes by car on the M0. The city center can be reached easily by public transport too. Our hotel is on the line of the bus Nr. 5., which crosses Budapest and reaches many famous sights.

Cancellation policy: Reservation can be cancelled up to the 3 day before arrival free of charge. In case of cancellation within 3 days before arrival, we charge one night. In case of no-show the total amount will be charged.

Baby swimming:

The quality of the water is safe even for the youngest babies because it’s constantly monitored.
Since September 2011 the „Picur Baba-Mama Vízi Program” baby swimming takes place in our hotel. For further information regarding opening hours and capacity please contact the reception.

Hungaroring

The Hungaroring is a motor-racing circuit in Mogyoród. It is next to the M3 motorway, about 19 km from the centre of Budapest, only 12 km from our hotel. The most important event is the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix, but the lovers of speed and acceleration can choose from various sports events at Hungaroring (WTCC, DTM) as well. As the circuit is in a valley about 80 percent of it can be seen from any point.

Aquaréna

Aquarena is a unique water-experience park in Mogyoród, near to Hungaroring. It is a perfect choice on a hot summer day with its 26 water slides meandering above and under the ground and with its nine pools: Experience pool, Jacuzzi, three-level diving pool, the slowly streaming Lazy River.

Bear Farm in Veresegyház

The Bear Farm, which is unique in Central-Europe can be found in Veresegyház, only 25 km from Budapest. It is the third most popular zoo in Hungary. On the 5 and half hectares area visitors can observe the animals from very close, but in a safe way and without disturbing them. Brown bears, Kamchatka bears, Transylvanian bears, racoons, wolves and reindeers live on the Farm.

Szentendre

Szentendre is a riverside town in a beautiful natural surroundings at the gate of the Danube-bend, where the Visegrád Mountains meet the Danube. It is easily approachable from Budapest by car on M0 motorway or by public transport: H5 suburban train, bus and sightseeing cruises on the Danube. It is a popular destination for tourists with its many small and charming streets, historic architecture and the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum.

Gödöllő

The Royal Palace of Gödöllő (Grassalkovich Castle) is one of Hungary’s largest baroque castles. It is only 22 km from our hotel and easily approachable on M3 motorway. The beautiful castle garden, permanent and seasonal exibitions in the Palace Museum and a row of cultural programmes, concerts, operas and festivals are waiting for the visitors.
